Accommodation
Lillibets is a small development made up of four air-conditioned apartments on a superb elevated site facing south overlooking the whole of Castara Bay. The apartments are made up of a double bedroom with en-suite facilities, a fully equipped kitchen dining area and a sitting room. Most guests, however, prefer to use the large balcony for al fresco dining and relaxing.
Looking out across the bay there are magnificent views of the surrounding rain forest in the hills behind Castara village and below are some pictures of these views.
Lillibets is in a wonderful position just above Heavenly Bay, the quieter of the two beaches in Castara, and offers a good deal of seclusion.
Lillibets has been built to incorporate a number of 'eco friendly' features including the magnificent roof which provides a natural cooling system. Timber for the construction is from sustainable sources and has been sealed, but not painted to display its natural richness.
Bedroom
The large double bedrooms, with a King size bed, are simply furnished with locally crafted furniture, again from sustainable sources. Bright and airy the bedrooms are en-suite offering cool and comfortable accomodation, provision can be made for infants and young children inthese rooms. Sleeping provision for other adults and older children is in the main living area.
Bathroom
The bathroom is fully tiled is accessable from both the bedroom and living areas. Designed as a wet room it is generous simple and refreshing with hot and cold water supply.
Living Area
The living space is flexible with space for dining and a separate sitting area. However most guests prefer to use the balcony for both dining and relaxing.
Kitchen Area
The kitchen is fully equipped with: sink with hot and cold water, cooker, fridge-freezer, saucepans, cooking utensils, cutlery and sealable storage boxes.
Balcony
The balcony for both dining and relaxing is the space you will use most. Sitting with a cup of tea or coffee or if it is to your taste a glass of wine or some of the excellent local beer just enjoying the superb ever changing panorama.
